Celebrate the magic of Christmas with Monaco’s retailers
As the festive season approaches, the shops of the Principality invite you to experience a month of magic in Monaco’s shopping districts. For full details of what’s going on and where, read on!
From Saturday 6 December 2025 to Saturday 3 January 2026, the lively streets of La Condamine, the famous Boulevard des Moulins, the Larvotto complex, and the shopping streets of Monte-Carlo will host a variety of free events and activities for families, residents, and visitors to enjoy.
It’s that special time of year again, and the magic of Christmas is coming to every neighbourhood:
- Gospel choirs will be singing well-known Christmas carols:
- Sunday 7 December from 2.00 pm in the historic streets of Monaco-Ville
- Tuesday 9 December, from 4.30 pm on Boulevard des Moulins
- Friday 12 December, from 5.00 pm in the iconic La Condamine district
- Friday 19 December, from 5.00 pm at the Larvotto Beach Resort
- Santa Claus and his elves, fairy-tale characters, magicians and street artists will be roaming the streets, creating moments of festive joy for the whole family
There will be activities especially for children in two locations:
- At the Larvotto Beach Resort, a Christmas chalet will be running arts and crafts workshops, whilst kids can get their photo taken with Santa himself, and post their wishlist in a special letterbox. There will also be a trampoline, a chair swing ride, and a stall selling sweets and candies to get everyone in the seasonal spirit until 18 January 2026
- On Boulevard des Moulins: A Christmas chalet will be offering too creative activities for kids, and the chance to meet Santa. There will also be a letterbox where you can post your list off to Santa
Organised by the Union des Commerçants et Artisans de Monaco, with financial support from the Prince’s Government, these events are a chance to rediscover Monaco’s vibrant shopping streets in a fun, festive, family atmosphere.

Monaco-Ville, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm: Savour the seasonal sound of a gospel concert in the very heart of the Old Town.
Larvotto, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm: Stop by the Christmas Chalet and make some unforgettable memories! Take a picture in the festive photobooth, and meet Disney characters all dressed up for Christmas.
Monaco-Ville, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm: Meet Christmas mascots and elves expert in balloon animals, magic tricks, and circus arts for colourful entertainment for the whole family.
Larvotto, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm: Meet Santa Claus and his elf, and get a temporary tattoo at the Christmas Chalet.
Condamine, from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm: Enjoy the festive atmosphere in the company of the Christmas mascots and elves, as they make balloon animals, do magic tricks, and perform circus acts for your entertainment!
Monaco-Ville, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm: Fairy-tale entertainment courtesy of the magical elves to delight all ages.
Boulevard des Moulins, from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm: Listen to a live gospel concert, then head to the Christmas Chalet where the kids can try their hand at drawing.
