Employment: new features in the online hiring process
Following an initial update in 2024, the employment process is being modernised once again with a fully digital hiring process and an online CV database.
As part of ongoing efforts to modernise recruitment procedures in the Principality, the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs (DASS), the Department of Employment and the Digital Transition Office (DITN) have worked to make the hiring process simpler, faster and more accessible for employers and job seekers in Monaco.
This initiative is the result of joint work carried out by the Department of Employment, the Digital Services Department and the Information Technologies Department.
In 2024, a first major milestone was reached in the digitalisation of the hiring process:
- Enhancement of the digital tool used by the Department of Employment to streamline and improve interactions with employers and job seekers
- Launch of the "Employer" and "Job Seeker" spaces on MonGuichet.mc, allowing users to submit, view and manage job offers in real time. More than 2,900 employers and 300 job seekers have already created an account
- Public publication of job offers on MonServicePublic: once the priority period has expired, offers are made available to all, improving the visibility of employment opportunities in the Principality
From March 2026, a further step will be introduced:
- • A fully digital hiring process, available 24/7, designed to streamline and speed up recruitment:
- Online submission of the recruitment form
- Electronic signature of documents by the employer and the prospective employee
- Online payment of recruitment fees
- Launch of an online CV database, allowing job seekers to upload their CV, increase their visibility among employers in the Principality and expand their employment opportunities
