PRESS RELEASE

On Friday 13 December 2024, One Monte Carlo will host the Monegasque Institute for Training in the Legal Professions’ symposium on "Corporate law in Monaco".

This is a highly topical issue, given Act no. 1.094 on modernising corporate law, , which seeks to establish the single-member private limited liability company in Monaco. Corporate law is also a hot legal topic in France at the moment, in light of the "RÉPONDS" project (Réflexion pour un nouveau droit des sociétés – Considering a new approach to corporate law), launched in early 2024 and led by Paris Panthéon-Assas University.

It is this relevance to both French and Monegasque law that justifies a symposium covering the key aspects of this topic, from starting companies to winding them down, through a series of round tables. Entrepreneurs, politicians, lawyers, judges, legal advisers, accountants and academics will each offer their perspective on the issue, resulting in a 360° overview of corporate law.

The invitation-only symposium, announced in Monaco Economie magazine, will bring together more than 200 legal professionals, as well as representatives from institutions and the business world.
