A few weeks away from the 7th Monaco e-Prix (27 April 2024), the 14th Monaco Historic Grand Prix (10–12 May 2024) and the 81st Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix (23–26 May 2024), the Department of Urban Amenities will be carrying out road resurfacing work on part of the circuit, as it does every year, as well as in other areas of the city, so that the Principality has a particularly well-maintained urban road network.

This year in particular, certain repairs will be carried out on portions of the route that professional cyclists will take in the Principality for the departure of the last stage of the Tour de France on 21 July 2024.

To minimise the impact on traffic as much as possible, the work, which will start on Monday 11 March 2024, will mainly take place at night according to the following schedule:

  • Boulevard Albert I (closed to traffic and parking prohibited): from Monday 11 to Wednesday 13 March between 8 pm and 6 am
  • Avenue du Port (closed to traffic and parking prohibited): from Monday 11 to Tuesday 12 March from 8 pm to 6 am
  • Avenue des Spélugues (closed to traffic and parking prohibited) from Tuesday 12 to Thursday 14 March from 8 pm to 6 am
  • Avenue J.F. Kennedy (right of the Luciana) (closed to traffic and parking prohibited, Louis II tunnel closed) from Thursday 14 to Friday 15 March from 8 pm to 6 am
  • Avenue Princesse Grace (closed to traffic and parking prohibited) from Monday 18 to Wednesday 20 March from 8 pm to 6 am
  • Louis II Tunnel and Portier (closed to traffic and parking prohibited, tunnel closed) from Wednesday 20 to Friday 22 March from 8 pm to 6 am
  • Avenue Camille Blanc and Boulevard de France (closed to traffic and parking prohibited) from Monday 25 to Wednesday 27 March from 8 pm to 6 am.

The various bus services affected by the works will be diverted between 8 pm and 6 am, with information provided to users in advance and available on the CAM website. The emergency services and the police will be able to access all of the areas where work is taking place in the event of an emergency.

In addition to the provision of comprehensive information for local residents, particular attention will be paid to users of private car parks and shops; road signals will be changed and any traffic diversions will be identified by signs.
