The AMSF publishes a collection of guides to different sectors and themes

After training the Principality’s economic stakeholders on how to make suspicious transaction reports, the Monegasque Financial Security Authority has now begun publishing practical handbooks on various themes and sectors. The guides provide practical operational support for all obliged entities subject to the provisions of Act No. 1,362, amended.

Specifically, they are designed to help obliged entities to:

• Understand their obligations in the fight against money laundering, terrorist financing, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and corruption (AML/CFT-P-C)
• Adopt appropriate measures, by outlining the provisions and practices specific to each profession

The guides are designed to be accessible, by explaining complex issues in straightforward terms and providing answers to professionals’ practical questions. To this end, they include examples and case studies to illustrate obligations.

The AMSF will be presenting the new guide for “Real Estate Agents” to firms and professionals concerned on Monday 11 December at 11 am.
