A commercial agency is a branch office of a firm whose registered office is located abroad, which has the aim of developing commercial activities in Monaco.

It must first obtain a business permit issued by the Minister of State and appoint a director for the Monegasque branch.

The application for authorisation must be made by the legal representative of the parent company.

The sales office must be entered on the Trade and Industry Registry.

It is subject to corporate income tax if it generates more than 25 % of its turnover outside the Principality of Monaco.
