Principle

Within the framework of the Blue Fund, the Government, in association with the Monaco Economic Board and the Fédération des Entreprises Monégasques (Federation of Monegasque Businesses), is offering a series of free digital technology training courses to local businesses, entitled: Les Ateliers du Numérique (Digital Workshops).

With contributions from world leaders in the sector such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Booking.com, Solocal and Microsoft, these conferences aim to help you get to grips with the practical solutions offered by digital technology.

The first conferences were attended by nearly 3,300 participants and tackled a wide range of topics through a focus on themes (online presence, Google Analytics, Click & Collect, etc.) or sectors (trade and tourism).

The Digital Workshops are available to view via Extended Monaco for Businesses (eme.gouv.mc). To find out how to access them for free, please click here.

New topics are already planned for 2024 – more information is available at: eme.gouv.mc

E-sport - December 2024

E-sport refers both to the use of digital technology in the world of sport and to the practice of a sport in the digital world, particularly video games.

Worldwide video game competitions are now recognised as a sporting activity by the Olympic Committee, with some competitions awarding millions of dollars in prize money.

In addition to video games, digital technology is helping athletes to improve their performance by analysing data as part of their training.

Beyond performance, digital technology is an opportunity for sports players to diversify their revenues through advertising and image rights in the virtual world. Marketing is riding the e-sport wave, using the virtual world to promote clubs, competitions, and players.

More information about the format and date will be available soon.

Those interested should enquire to: eme@gouv.mc.
