Understanding the process
In the month following the completion of the work, you must make a request for an inspection visit. The purpose of this visit is to give permission to live in and use the modified premises.
In the event of changes to the authorised works, the Department of Forward Studies, Urban Planning and Mobility may request that they be brought into conformity or that an amended application is submitted. This must be signed by an architect who is a member of the Council of the Order of Architects of the Principality and validated by the managing agent of the building.
You must provide:
- All the documents required in the building permit
- The updated plans, if they have been modified
- Plans of the alterations made
On receipt of the request for an inspection visit, the Department of Forward Studies, Urban Planning and Mobility will offer, by post, an appointment for an inspection visit to be made to the premises, to establish that the work carried out is in conformity with the work authorised.
In the event of non-compliance, an amended application must be submitted.
You should submit the complete application to the Department of Forward Studies, Urban Planning and Mobility, by post or by email.
