​Principle 

The Government incentives can be awarded for the purchase of an ecological vehicle:

• New (no previous registration in Monaco or abroad)
• Or previously registered, as a demonstration vehicle for a maximum of one year
• Or fiscally new (first registration less than 6 months from the date of invoice), or less than 6,000 km for a four-wheeled vehicle or 2,000 km for a two-wheeled vehicle, tricycle, quadricycle or microcar
• Sold by a professional authorised to trade in vehicles or by a financial organization authorised to offer Long-Term Leasing or Leasing with Option to Purchase 
• Who has not previously received help to buy an eco-friendly vehicle in Monaco or abroad
• Registered in Monaco or, in the case of an unregistered bicycle, owned by a resident or legal entity registered in the Principality, provided that the bicycle is:
  • Without a lead battery
  • Purchased from a retailer established in the European Union
  • Delivered to Monaco: If delivery to Monaco is not possible, please provide proof
• Not registered in the "Provisional" series "TT", "Driving Professionals" partial or total delegation of driving "Z" "special (diplomatic)" or "Classic Car"
• Not registered in the name of the brand's dealer or agent
• Acquired within a maximum of 6 months (date of invoice or 1st instalment in the case of leasing less than 6 months on the day of application for help to buy)

The subsidy applies to the following vehicles:

• Electric or hybrid (electric/petrol) motor vehicles with at least four wheels and CO2 emissions of less than or equal to 110g/km
• Electric or hybrid (electric/petrol) two-wheel or three-wheel vehicles and quadricycles with CO2 emissions of less than or equal to 45g/km
• Electric bicycles which do not have a lead battery

Amount of subsid:

Monaco ON has:

• Equipped public car parks
• On-street rapid and semi-rapid charging stations (each accommodating 2 vehicles)  
• A real-time map, viewable on the Your Monaco app

Electric vehicles are exempt from the annual car sticker provided that their owners (individuals or companies) have their main place of residence (or registered office) in the Principality of Monaco.

• Monaco Town Hall allows electric vehicles to park for free on public roads.
• Reduced parking charges are available for public car park season-ticket holders who drive a clean or low-polluting vehicle that emits less than 98 g/km of CO2
