STARTING AND MANAGING A BUSINESS
Conditions
Regulated activities are those for which:
- The law or regulation establishes conditions for access
- These conditions may be required of the entrepreneur (qualifications, professional experience, financial conditions, etc.) or conditions required of the business (permit to carry out a business activity)
- The law or regulation establishes conditions for running the business
- For example, an antiques dealer must draw up and keep a register stating the identity and address of vendors, as well as the type and price of items
- Lastly, some activities are not regulated but are subject to obtaining authorisation.
