Principle
It is possible to set up a business or a company head office in a Business Centre for varying lengths of time, under certain conditions.

The various options available
These options do not apply to regulated activities.
"Start Up MC" option
Shared office which can accommodate a maximum of ten businesses.
Exclusively for sole traders, Professional activity (PR), Craftsperson (AR) and Commercial Agent (AC).
Conditions:
♦ For nationals and spouses who are in receipt of a grant to set up a business
♦ Available only during set-up
♦ Businesses may not hire staff, receive customers or store stock on the premises
Duration: Six months, renewable once (maximum of one year).
"Start Up" option
Shared office which can accommodate a maximum of ten businesses.
Exclusively for sole traders, Professional activity (PR), Craftsperson (AR) and Commercial Agent (AC).
Conditions:
- Available only during set-up
- Businesses may not hire staff, receive customers or store stock on the premises
Duration: For non-Monegasques, three months, renewable once (maximum of six months)
"Primo" option
Open space with dedicated office which can accommodate a maximum of five businesses, for a minimum of one fixed day per week, specified in the contract.
Exclusively for sole traders, Professional activity (PR), Craftsperson (AR) and Commercial Agent (AC).
Conditions:
- During set-up, following the use of the "Start Up" option or once the business is up and running
- Businesses may not hire staff, receive customers or store stock on the premises
Duration: Maximum of three years.
"Primo +" option
Open space with dedicated office which can accommodate a maximum of five businesses, for a minimum of one fixed day per week, specified in the contract.
Exclusively for sole traders, Professional activity (PR), Craftsperson (AR) and Commercial Agent (AC).
Conditions:
- This option offers an extension of the "Primo" option on condition that the business has already been resident in the same business centre
Duration: Unlimited.
"Primo R" option
Open space with dedicated office which can accommodate a maximum of five businesses, for a minimum of one fixed day per week, specified in the contract.
Exclusively for sole traders, Professional activity (PR), Craftsperson (AR) and Commercial Agent (AC).
Conditions:
- During set-up, following the use of the "Start Up" option or once the business is up and running
- Businesses may not hire staff, receive customers or store stock on the premises
Duration: Unlimited (certain conditions apply).
"Administrative accommodation" option
Open space with dedicated office which can accommodate a maximum of five businesses, for five days per week: this will be specified in the contract.
For individuals only.
Conditions:
- During set-up, following the use of the "Start Up" option or a "primo" option or once the business is up and running
- Requests will be assessed on a case by case basis and depending on the business, in consultation with the Business Development Agency
- Businesses may not hire staff, receive customers or store stock on the premises
Duration: Three years, renewable for three-year periods, subject to certain conditions.
"Campus" option
Open space with dedicated office which can accommodate a maximum of one business, for five days per week: this will be specified in the contract.
Available only to the following types of business: SNC, SARL and SCS. Not available to SAMs.
Conditions: Business may not hire staff, receive customers or store stock on the premises.
Duration: Maximum of three years, non-renewable, from the date of publication of the notice of the company’s establishment in the Journal de Monaco.
"Campus +" option
Open space with dedicated office which can accommodate a maximum of one business, for five days per week: this will be specified in the contract.
Available only to the following types of business: SNC, SARL and SCS. Not available to SAMs.
Conditions: This option offers an extension of the "Campus" option on condition that the business has already been resident in the same business centre for a year.
Duration: Unlimited.
"Exclusive office" option
Available to all legal entities with the exception of those operating as a Company Services Provider (CSP).
Conditions: During set-up or once the business is up and running; business may hire staff.
Duration: Unlimited
For SAMs: a minimum space of 25 m² is required, which must be increased depending on the number of employees.
For all other legal entities: a minimum space of 9 m² is required, which must be increased depending on the number of employees.
