Firms with a registered office abroad may open an administrative office in Monaco where management, coordination or oversight is carried out on an actual and regular basis.

No commercial activities may be performed by an administrative office.

The firm appoints a management agent for this administrative office, known as "agent responsable", who generally has the status of a salaried worker.

The opening of an administrative office is subject to being granted official permit.
