Understanding the process
Trade Fair Support can be obtained by Monegasque companies participating in professional trade fairs abroad.
This support covers 65% (75% for Japan) of the costs incurred by the company for participation as an exhibitor at a trade fair. Support is given following advance payment by the company on production of receipts for costs incurred, within a maximum budget defined by contract.
Who can receive support?
Industrial, commercial or service industry companies based in Monaco are eligible for this loan.
What kind of expenses does it cover?
- Rental and setting up of stands
- Transport of the products for display
- Travel costs of employees or managers attending the fair
- Living costs for the duration of the stay
- Promotional and communications costs related to the fair

The application for Trade Fair Support should include supporting documents, notably the budget forecast for the loan period, drawn up according to a given model, as well as copies of the two previous statements of account and profit and loss statements.
The Business Development Agency will inform you of the result of your application for Trade Fair Support.
If your application is approved you will receive the contract in duplicate to be signed and you will be informed of the total amount to be paid.
Your copy of the contract will be returned to you, signed by the State Property Authority, along with an expenses form.
You must return the expenses form, completed and signed, to the Business Development Agency within 30 days of the end of the trade fair along with photocopies of your receipts.
The Business Development Agency will then provisionally settle the contract and make the calculated payment to the company.
