You must request permission to occupy part of the public highway.
Understanding the process
You must request permission to occupy part of the public highway.
If you need to occupy part of the public highway (for example for removals, a crane or deliveries) for a fixed period, outside the marked areas (such as traffic lanes or the pavement), you should contact the Integrated Mobility Management Centre (CIGM).
The request must be made at least eight working days before you need to occupy the public highway.
If the parking place is marked out on the ground you must contact the Mairie (Town Hall), except for the Port Hercule zone.
For this zone, you should contact the Marine and Airport Police Division including for:
- The central jetty of the port
- Le quai Louis II
- Le quai Lucciana
- Le quai des Hirondelles
- Le quai Rainier 1er grand amiral de France
To get this form, you can either:
- Download it here
- Or collect it from the Integrated Mobility Management Centre
The completed form must be sent to the CIGM at least eight working days before the scheduled date of occupation.
