In the event of the loss or theft of a technical inspection report, the owner must inform the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office immediately and may request a duplicate.

Code DDThe request for a duplicate of technical inspection report must be sent to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office using the appropriate form, duly completed and signed on the original:
- The form may be:
- Downloaded online:
- Collected from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office
- Or a report of the theft, made to the Police Department or Police authorities abroad
- A copy of a valid ID document:
- Monaco national identity card. Alternatively a national passport with proof of address (gas or electricity bill from the SMEG, rental agreement)
- Or Residence permit
- Or a copy of an extract from the Trade and Industry Registry dated of less than 3 months
- Or the articles of association/ministerial authorisation to operate a business in the Principality + certificate of listing in the NIS (statistical identification number) register dated of less than 3 months
- The payment, to be made by cash, cheque or postal order (clearable in Monaco or France), made out to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office and Visa or Mastercard bank cards only, in accordance with the current fee schedule
Any administrative procedure undertaken at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office by a third party must be accompanied by a mandate signed by the principal and by supporting documents showing proof of these persons' identities.
However, it does not allow the representative to sign the documents in place of the principal.
You should submit the complete application without appointment to the reception desk of the Vehicle Testing Centre. A receipt for payment (invoice) will be issued.
The duplicata of technical inspection report, marked as a duplicate, will be available within 72 hours reception desk of the Vehicle Testing Centre on presentation of the payment receipt (invoice).
