Call for applications for the Fontvieille shopping centre – Lot 262
Commercial premises to be rented out, located on the ground floor of the Fontvieille shopping centre forming lot 262, with a surface area of approximately 47m² and a storage area
The above-mentioned premises are intended for commercial activity, in Fontvieille
In addition, the commercial premises being offered under this call for applications may not be used to exercise a licensed profession or as an office.
The business must be in line with the Principality’s prestigious image, and should not, under any circumstances, cause any disruption of any kind.
The commercial premises are being leased as is, all work to fit out the premises will be conducted at the expense and under the sole responsibility of the selected applicant. This includes the work needed to ensure that the premises comply with all current standards and requirements imposed by the relevant authorities, without being able to request any reduction in fees, compensation or the provision of other premises.
The publicly owned premises will be subject to agreements establishing occupancy on a precarious and revokable basis, thereby excluding the application of the provisions relating to Act no. 490 of 24 November 1948 concerning tenancy agreements for commercial, industrial or trade use, amended by the Act no. 1.287 of 15 July 2004.
The premises will be made available until 31 December 2025, with the possibility of renewal, subject to the express prior written agreement of the State three months before the expiry date, particularly in view of the progress of the Fontvieille Shopping Centre renovation project.
The provision of the premises described shall not under any circumstances constitute any kind of acquired right for the selected applicant to operate their business again in a commercial premises within the future Shopping Centre, without, however, this does not rule out the possibility of relocating to the future centre on rental terms to be determined as appropriate.
The premises must be handed over in perfect condition, without any right to compensation in any form whatsoever and for any reason whatsoever, particularly in respect of any investments made.
Anybody interested should collect their application pack to the State Property Authority offices, from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), from 9.30 am to 5 pm, on the fourth floor of 24, rue du Gabian, or download it below.

The commercial premises can be visited, without appointment, at the following days on the following time:
- Friday 2 February 2024 from 10.30am to 11.30am
- Wednesday 7 February 2024 from 3.00pm to 4.00pm
Applications should be sent to the State Property Authority by the deadline on Friday 1 March 2024 at midday, at the latest.
The candidates’ attention is drawn to the fact that only complete packs including absolutely all the documents required will be considered.
