Digital FlashUP: a new format to make digital technology accessible to all businesses
The Extended Monaco for Businesses (EME) programme, working in partnership with the Monaco Business Office (MBO), is launching Digital FlashUP, a brand-new strategic campaign to raise awareness of the major challenges posed by digital technology, aimed at Monegasque businesses.
"A coffee, a croissant... and digital technology is (finally) becoming clear"
This new, pragmatic short format offers businesses the opportunity to get to grips with the key digital developments through 45-minute morning sessions led by industry experts. The goal is to explain the core issues, share good habits and offer practical tools that managers and employees can start using straight away in their day-to-day jobs.
A short, practical format that focuses on the essentials.
Digital FlashUP is built around five themed sessions focusing on the digital issues that matter most to businesses, including:
- Cybersecurity
- Data protection (GDPR)
- Artificial intelligence and use cases
- The sovereign cloud
- Digital strategy and drawing up road maps
Each session is held at 8.00 am, bringing together digital experts over coffee and a croissant. There will also be practical resources available to take away (factsheets, tutorials, guides or templates).
First session:
- Topic: Data and GDPR "Data: a strategic asset to be protected and exploited"
- Objective: Understand regulatory issues, transform your obligations into a lever of confidence
- Date: 03 July 2025
- Welcome and breakfast: 8.00 am
- FlashUP begins: 8.30 am
- Discussion over coffee: 9.15 am
- Location: MonacoTech and videoconference
- Booking required, see: eme.gouv.mc
A booster for Monegasque businesses.
The Digital FlashUP programme is part of the comprehensive digital acceleration strategy pursued by the Prince’s Government via the Digital Economy Unit and its Extended Monaco for Businesses (EME) programme. It complements the existing measures:
- A maturity self-assessment tool
- A network of experts to structure projects
- Co-financing through the Blue Fund to promote the integration of technologies that are vital to businesses’ economic growth
In short: a clear, useful format that is institutional yet accessible, enabling businesses to take action on digital issues... without wasting any time.
