NEWS RELEASE

This year’s Monaco Yacht Show, a renowned international trade fair in the world of yachting, will be held from 25 to 28 September 2024.

Installation of the infrastructure needed to host the Show, a key event for the yachting sector and source of significant economic benefits for the Principality, will begin on 31 August 2024.

With most of the Show taking place in the Port Hercule area, the main roads affected by restrictions in place to accommodate installations will be Quai des États-Unis/Avenue J.F. Kennedy, Route de la Piscine and Quai Antoine I (from 9 September 2024 on Quai Antoine I). The various docks at the port will also be affected

Parking restrictions will be required to enable work to begin, and there will be changes to traffic and pedestrian routes, with some full closures over several days.

Nonetheless, the situation improves each year thanks to ongoing cooperation between government departments and organisers, and provisions to improve traffic during rush hours will be in place. Restrictions will be lifted temporarily to allow school children to be dropped off. Similarly, temporary traffic arrangements are planned to facilitate deliveries.

The same applies to Route de la Piscine, which must be closed to traffic for two weeks to accommodate the logistics of setting up the exhibition stands and ensure the safety of those present at what will be qualified as a ‘construction site’ due to these operations.

Route de la Piscine will, however, remain open to those travelling from Portier to Quai Antoine I during the morning rush hour for the duration of this period (except for the day before the Show opens and the three days after the Show ends).

A parking space for two-wheeled vehicles will also be available on Avenue de la Quarantaine from September 9, when Quai Antoine I closes.

These areas will gradually be returned to public use from 29 September 2024 onwards, with a return to normal expected by 10 October 2024.
