MonacoTech announces its new cohort
Monaco’s start-up incubator organised a Demo Day on 27 May to present the three new start-ups it has supported since March 2024. This cohort was selected by a panel of experts following the last call for projects in October/November 2023.
The Demo Day marks the end of the two-month acceleration programme and is a milestone for entrepreneurs.
This event gives new recruits an opportunity to present their projects to a friendly audience made up of representatives of the Prince's Government, the private sector, investors and partners. These discussions enable project leaders to forge the initial links that are essential to their development within the Monegasque business ecosystem.
The proposed innovations from this new cohort span the medtech, fintech and eco-responsible cosmetics sectors:
- Nursinnov has developed a medical device to bridge a gap in safety for healthcare workers and patients, particularly during the collection of micro-droplets of blood from extracorporeal circuits. The product helps prevent accidents and exposure to viruses and infections
- Founder: Angeline Pena Prado
- Monte Digital* is a technology platform designed to enable private banks, wealth managers and multi-family offices to serve their clients more effectively
- Founder: Anatoly Gorlov
*The project scope is currently undergoing regulatory approval by the relevant authority
- Founder: Anatoly Gorlov
- The Purative develops certified organic cosmetics, made in Monaco, which are biodegradable and refillable, and are free from harmful ingredients
- Founder: Stefan Parkes
The Net0 start-up, which has been incubated at MonacoTech since 2022, also presented its latest innovation at the event: a smart buoy designed to revolutionise ocean data collection.
