Night-time switching off of facades and shop windows
In the continuity of its energy management plan, the Princely Government has just set by ministerial decree dated 10 February the modalities for the extinction of interior lights, as well as the façades, windows and signs of certain professional premises, which will be in force until 30 April 2023.
The lighting of facades and business premises and spaces must now be switched off between 11pm and 6am, unless the businesses are open or in operation during these hours.
This extinction also concerns the interior lighting of premises, including that produced by any screen or light pattern.
Temporary derogations may be considered at the discretion of the Minister of State.
These measures will contribute to reducing visual pollution and electricity consumption, while respecting the living environment and the commitments to energy management made by the Government at the beginning of the energy crisis.
