The yachting industry has gained increasing momentum towards sustainability, driven by environmental regulations, consumer demand and a commitment to marine conservation.

The Monaco Yacht Show 2024 is highlighting this shift, with its Sustainability Hub showcasing the latest green technologies and green practices in yachting.

The yachting sector has historically faced criticism for its effects on the environment, ranging from waste management to fuel usage.

However, the tide is turning, with yacht manufacturers and owners investing in green technologies and embracing sustainable practices.

The MYS Sustainability Hub, in collaboration with the Water Revolution Foundation and sponsored by Siemens Energy, provides a platform for industry leaders to showcase and discuss sustainable innovations. Exhibitors such as Termodinamica are revolutionising yacht air conditioning by integrating eco-friendly refrigerants and energy-efficient systems.

MYS 2024 emphasises the ever-increasing importance of sustainability in yachting, encouraging collaboration and innovation to ensure that the industry evolves responsibly, thus safeguarding the oceans for future generations.
