Road haulage companies or companies that transport goods or persons, whose registered office is in the Principality, must be registered with the Road Transport Register.
Registration gives entitlement to a certificate of registration with the Road Transport Register.
Requests for registration of a road haulage or passenger transport business with the Road Transport Register must be sent to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office by post or email at the following address circulation@gouv.mc specifying the subject of the request and attaching:
- A copy of the company’s entry in the Trade and Industry Registry (dated of less than 3 months)
- A certificate of professional competence
The registration certificate will be sent directly by post, to the company's registered address.
Any modification relating to registration with the Road Transport Register must be notified to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office as soon as possible by mail or email to the following address: circulation@gouv.mc
All requests for a copy of the Road Transport Register registration certificate must be made to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office by mail or email to the following address: circulation@gouv.mc
Subject to acceptance of the request, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office will send notification by email, within 3 to 4 working days, when the copy of the registration certificate is available. The copy of the registration certificate may then be collected from the reception desk of the aforesaid Office.
