You must notify the Employment Office of any changes to work permits.
Understanding the process
Any change concerning an employee's professional or administrative circumstances must be notified to the Department of Employment by submitting a request to modify or renew the employment contract, in order to update the work permit.
This applies to changes relating to:
- The employee's role and professional status
- The type of contract (fixed-term, permanent, etc.)
- The duration of the contract
- Working hours (full-time, part-time)
- The introduction or modification of teleworking
- The employee’s civil status
To apply to modify or renew a contract of employment, you must complete the dedicated form.
To get the form you can either :
- Download it here:
- Or collect them from the Employment Office
If you need assistance or encounter any difficulties, you can make an appointment at the employment office in one of the following three ways:
- Online, using the dedicated online service
- By emailing: emploi@gouv.mc
- By telephoning: (+377) 98 98 87 26
You must returned the form to the Employment Office stating all changes, accompanied by €5 to cover the stamp duty.
You will be sent a new work permit.
