Understanding the process
Managers of establishments in which foodstuffs or animal food is prepared, processed, packaged, preserved, confined or stocked are subject to the license provided for in article 13 of the act n° 1.330.
This license must be granted by the Minister of State before these products or foodstuffs are put on the market.
The license specifies the person or people responsible for the license among the person or people to whom the license was granted.
The license application must be renewed each time the manager changes.
The duly completed form must be returned to the Department of Health Affairs.
The authorisation will be notified to you separately by post if your application proves to be satisfactory.
