Understanding the process
The running of premises that are open to the public (bars, restaurants, etc.) and the organisation of evening events are regulated with the purpose of ensuring public order and peace. A preliminary application for authorisation must therefore be made to the regulatory authority for all such activities.
Official closing time for establishments in Monaco is 1 a.m.

On receipt of authorisation you must pay a fee determined by Ministerial Decree.
