Road haulage companies or companies that transport goods or persons, whose registered office is in the Principality, must be registered with the Road Transport Register.
Requests for registration of a road haulage or passenger transport business with the Road Transport Register must be sent to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office by post or email at the following address circulation@gouv.mc specifying the subject of the request and attaching:
- A document proving your professional activity in the Principality:
- Either, for companies, a copy of an entry in the Trade and Industry Registry dated within the last 3 months, stating the name and role of the applicant and, where applicable, a delegation of signing authority
- Or, for self-employed individuals, a copy of the ministerial authorisation to operate a business in the Principality
- Accompanied by a certificate of listing in the NIS (statistical identification number) register dated within the last 3 months
- A document showing that at least one of the company’s corporate officers named on the entry in the Trade and Industry Register has professional capacity for the activity sought
Once registered, you are entitled to obtain a certificate of registration on the Principality's Road Transport Register, which will be sent to you by post with acknowledgement of receipt at the company’s registered office address.
Any modification relating to registration with the Trade and Industry Registry must be notified to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office as soon as possible by email to: circulation@gouv.mc

The certificate of registration on the Road Transport Register will be sent directly by post, with acknowledgement of receipt, to the company’s registered office address.
