Call for applications - Commercial premises - Larvotto beach resort
The State Property Authority granted the limited liability company known as "COSTA" a State property precarious occupation agreement for the premises listed as L8, with an approximate total surface area of 98 square metres, located on the lower promenade of Larvotto beach resort.
Theses premises are intended for exclusive use as a place to "sell bread, sweet and savoury cakes, pastries, confectionery, chocolates, sandwiches, regional specialities, ready-made meals, mixed salads, as well as the purchase, sale and on-site consumption of artisanal and industrial ice creams, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, tearoom and small grocery store".
Any preparation and/or cooking on site is expressly and strictly prohibited, as the premises in question are not equipped with an extraction fan.
In addition, use of the above-mentioned premises will not lead to the allocation of any additional stretch of beach or promenade.
The State Property Authority is hereby launching a call for applications to enable anyone interested in operating the above-mentioned business activity, in Lot L8, to submit a proposal, so that the most appropriate candidate can be selected.
The successful candidate will have to pay the sum of 1.2 million Euros as a repossession right, no later than the day of the signing of the deed of occupancy.
The repossession fee may not be reimbursed in any form whatsoever by the State of Monaco in whole or in part to the successful candidate throughout the duration of the agreement and any renewals and/or extensions, nor at the end of the agreement for any reason whatsoever.
It is expressly stated that payment of the above-mentioned sum is a sine qua non condition of this call for applications.
All interested persons must undertake to make this payment, otherwise their application will not be accepted. To this end, a document drawn up by a banking institution must be attached, certifying that the funds are held or that a loan has been granted.
In addition, the acquirer will be required to take on all the employees from the COSTA establishment, in accordance with the relevant provisions.
Anybody interested should collect their applications to the State Property Authority offices, on the fourth floor of 24, rue du Gabian, from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 5 pm, or download it below.
