In case of loss of your certificates or in case of a change in your organisation (departure of a certificate holder), you must revoke the certificates to make them inoperative. This will not affect the documents that were previously signed with the certificates.
Understanding the process
If your smart card is lost or stolen, you must cancel your certificate as soon as possible. This means that you will no longer be able to use the certificate and will need to apply for a new one.
You can cancel your certificate yourself online.
If you have lost the cancellation code you received by email when you registered, you can obtain assistance from an operator at the Business Development Agency by telephoning (+377) 98 98 96 71
These two options are described below.
In the event that an employee who is a certificate holder is leaving the company, it is up to the legal representative or authorised representative to cancel the relevant certificate. A cancellation code is sent to the legal representative (the default authorised representative) and to the authorised representative when a certificate is issued.
Once the certificate has been cancelled, it will need to be renewed before the signature can be used again.

When your card was issued, you received an email containing a cancellation code enabling you to request the cancellation of your certificate yourself online.
Please follow the steps below:
- Click on this link: fo.certinomis.com/pro
- Click on the "Cancel a certificate" button at the bottom right
- Enter your email address, name and the cancellation code emailed to you during registration
- Validate and enter the reason for cancellation
- Then click "Cancel"
- Once you have confirmed, your certificate is cancelled
To cancel your certificate with assistance from an operator, please telephone the Business Development Agency on (+377) 98 98 96 71.
For identification purposes, you will be asked the personal questions which you answered in the registration form.
