Principle

In terms of issuing electronic certificates, the Business Development Agency acts as the Registration Authority for Monegasque Businesses.

Downloading the SafeNet software

The SafeNet Client software must be downloaded and installed on your computer (PC or Mac) to enable the certificate on your USB key reader to be read.

This will allow you to enter your PIN every time you wish to affix your signature or stamp to a document:

Tip: do you know how to tell if your computer is running Windows 32-bit or 64-bit?
Click on the Start button (Windows button) then choose Settings – System – About and check under "System type". This will say "32-bit operating system" or "64-bit operating system".

Access to the current Certification Policy

The Certification Policy sets out the rules for issuing and verifying certificates.
